The 12 cm format is the right choice for the front door and for cases of 13 cm and more: the lettering is wider, hence more legible and more resistant over time.
Handwritten by a certified sofer in the script of your tradition, computer-checked and proofread, delivered with a certificate.
Handwritten on parchment (klaf) from a kosher animal, with halachically valid black ink, by a certified sofer. Computer check of every letter, then proofreading by a second sofer. Ships with a kashrut certificate.
Every scroll is checked twice before shipping: by computer, letter by letter, then proofread by a second sofer. The named certificate attests to this check.

10 cm is the standard for most cases. 7 cm suits small decorative cases. 12 and 15 cm give wider lettering, which is more legible and more durable over time; it is the recommended choice for the front door.
Halacha requires checking twice every seven years (Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh Deah 291). Many have them checked yearly during Elul, before Rosh Hashanah. Mezuzot exposed to humidity or sun deteriorate faster.
