Kashrut certificate
Mehudar min hamehudar denotes a script of excellence: every letter is kosher according to all opinions, with remarkable regularity and beauty. These mezuzot are written by our most experienced sofrim, in the script of your tradition.
The 15 cm format suits large cases (inner length of 16 cm and more), synagogue doors and prestige gifts. Written to order if not in stock in the chosen script; full checking and a named certificate.
Handwritten on parchment (klaf) from a kosher animal, with halachically valid black ink, by a certified sofer. Computer check of every letter, then proofreading by a second sofer. Ships with a kashrut certificate.
Every scroll is checked twice before shipping: by computer, letter by letter, then proofread by a second sofer. The named certificate attests to this check.
Tracked and insured shipping from France or Israel. In-stock items ship within 2 business days. Items written to order show their lead time on the product page.

Scrolls are sacred handwritten items: they can only be returned for a kashrut defect confirmed by a sofer. Cases and accessories can be returned within 14 days.
10 cm is the standard for most cases. 7 cm suits small decorative cases. 12 and 15 cm give wider lettering, which is more legible and more durable over time; it is the recommended choice for the front door.
Halacha requires checking twice every seven years (Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh Deah 291). Many have them checked yearly during Elul, before Rosh Hashanah. Mezuzot exposed to humidity or sun deteriorate faster.
