Large megillah in hamelech format, ideal for reading in synagogue or with family.
≈ US$3,132 (indicative, charged in euros)
Kashrut certificate
In the "hamelech" format, the sofer calculates the spacing so that every column begins with the word הַמֶּלֶךְ ("the king"), a tradition recalling the hidden presence of the King of kings in the story of Esther.
Written to order by an expert sofer, 42 lines per column. Allow 10 to 12 weeks. Case and certificate included.
Handwritten on parchment (klaf) from a kosher animal, with halachically valid black ink, by a certified sofer. Computer check of every letter, then proofreading by a second sofer. Ships with a kashrut certificate.
Every scroll is checked twice before shipping: by computer, letter by letter, then proofread by a second sofer. The named certificate attests to this check.
Tracked and insured shipping from France or Israel. In-stock items ship within 2 business days. Items written to order show their lead time on the product page.
